What are the advantages of organic, handmade soap? Why choosing the right organic soaps in Pakistan is important to you?

‘Soap’ refers to all types of skin cleansers, ranging from solid to liquid, from white to coloured, from scented to unscented, and from simple to complex packaging and marketing claims. Soaps that are commercially manufactured are usually much cheaper than many organic soaps in Pakistan, but there may be a valid reason for this. Is paying a premium for natural soap worth it, in terms of its benefits? Let's find out.

There are several types of soap, including deodorising, antimicrobial, anti-aging, and moisturising soaps. Using soap, as a tool that almost everyone uses several times a day in most cases, is one of the most important methods of avoiding bacterial and viral diseases.

Soaps are not all equal in potency or effectiveness, and not every soap is beneficial for your skin.

Through common sense, modern science has confirmed what is already known: that toxins in our environment are, to a large extent, absorbed through our skin. Our skin is the largest organ in the human body and the one most in contact with the outside world, so it should be a serious concern for us.

Since soap is rubbed across our entire skin, we should focus on ensuring its safety when we consider the dangers of using it. When we've taken care to ensure the water we drink and the food we eat are safe, we should pay particular attention to what we expose our skin to.

Using an natural & organic soap can help reduce the risk of exposure to toxic substances.

What is organic soap?

Soaps made from natural ingredients begin with natural components. Organic soaps are made from organic ingredients & usually consist of a mixture of butter and oils from various plants. Human skin, hair, and other body parts require vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants to maintain health. These substances are abundant in organic soaps, in addition to clays, salts, essential oils, and botanical extracts.

Soaps made by hand take longer to make, and therefore cost more, but they are usually gentler on sensitive skin. Finding the right natural soap for your skin and preferences is important.

Benefits of using organic handmade soap

Using natural soap provides several advantages:

1. Choose real soap over fake soap

Many products that are advertised or displayed using terms such as ‘cleanser,’ ‘body bar,’ ‘body wash,’ ‘beauty bar,’ ‘skincare bar,’ and ‘deodorant soap’ are actually detergent based products and not soaps at all.

2. Naturally made soap is very moisturising.

The production process generates glycerine, an excellent skin moisturiser, as a by-product. Glycerine attracts moisture to the skin's surface and surroundings, making it an effective skin moisturiser. In addition to moisturising the skin, traditional soaps that contain glycerine hydrate the skin during bathing, whereas many commercially manufactured soaps can dry out the skin. Why does this occur? Because store-bought, commercial soaps generally include a procedure to remove the glycerine.

Soaps that don't have glycerine in them cannot hydrates your skin as well as those that do, since the glycerine is extracted and used in other cosmetic products. If you use their soap, you'll need more moisturisers and similar skincare products because the glycerine has been removed. Your skin may be dry, ashy, itchy, and far from its best if you use a soap that doesn't have glycerine in it.

Handmade soaps, which retaining its glycerine content, leave your skin moisturized and looking healthy.

3. Better ingredients

When producing hundreds of thousands or millions of bars of soap at one time, part of the profit margin is gained from mass production, and part is gained from using the least expensive materials available—often synthetic substitutes for the real thing.

There are those who believe that these synthetic products can be damaging to the endocrine, reproductive, respiratory, and immune systems, as well as damaging your skin by drying it out.

Soaps that are used commercially can contain Parabens, Sulphates, and Triclosan, all of which are thought to cause allergies, alter hormone levels, and possibly increase the chance of certain cancers.

Soaps made with natural ingredients such as olive and coconut oils, shea butter, and grass-fed tallow, are thought to be very nourishing and healthy for the skin.

Soap bars with Orange Zest and Rose Custurd are among our range.

4. Cruelty Free & Animal Friendly

Soaps made from natural, organic materials are excellent in that they are not harming any animals during testing or production. Ingredients are almost always exclusively plant-based (though some soaps include animal fat as an ingredient, this is rare), organic, and do not require large-scale factories and other facilities that cause widespread environmental damage.

Organic manufacturers, in contrast, tend to be smaller facilities that use botanical herbs and extracts to make their final product. Coconut and palm oils make up the base of the ingredients, and they are supplemented with essential oils from a variety of plants, flowers, spices, and fruits. Soaps made from tallow or lard, which are animal products, may be used, but they will be identified as such. These goods do not require pesticides, which means they do not contain synthetically produced chemicals, and do not require animal testing.

5. Unique and handmade product

Commercial soaps mass-produced for efficiency of production are produced in such large quantities that they are identical in size and composition. Consumers' health is frequently compromised in favour of profit as a result. Organic bars, on the other hand, are produced using natural ingredients and vary slightly from bar to bar just as those ingredients do. Each bar has no harmful substances and ample nutritional value regardless of whether its components do not vary.

6.Environment Friendly

It's true that organic soaps don't generate harmful environmental poisons or toxins. Soap breaks down more easily after it has been used and doesn't harm the water cycle or the wildlife that lives in our rivers, lakes, and oceans. Even if everything else was equal, this eco-friendliness would be a powerful reason to use organic soaps. You get a lot of pleasure from organic soaps due to their excellent quality and performance, in addition to their being a more unique product.

7.Rich in antioxidants

It is because of this that organic soaps can help to rejuvenate the skin by facilitating inflammation reduction, hydration, and therefore skin health. Organic soaps with a pH of between 9 and 10 are more gentle on your skin than non-organic soaps, keeping you fresh and clean now and helping you look gorgeous in the long term.

8. An excess of glycerin provides natural skin benefits.

According to Science Daily, glycerol, known as glycerine, attracts alcohol and water as well as cleaning skin, and it has long been a excellent moisturiser for human skin. Having regular exposure to glycerine improves skin texture and protects sensitive skin from outside irritants. It provides a boost to sensitive skin instead of just another irritation-causing substance.

Soaps and beauty bars are mass-produced, and the glycerine is extracted from them for two reasons. Soap lasts longer on warehouse shelves or on shelves because of the extracted glycerine, which is used to make moisturizing products.

Why not just leave the fragrance in the soap, saving us the trouble of buying an additional product?

Our goal is to maintain the glycerin in our soaps, so we don't damage the skin as we wash it, and to keep our bars fresh by producing them in small batches. In other words, you don't need to buy a moisturiser to fix what we've done to your skin. It may be more expensive, but it's still cheaper than a mass-produced bar of soap plus moisturiser!

9. No preservatives are used in handmade organic soap

Organic products do have a shorter shelf life, but that is for good reason. Preservatives used in artificial products are frequently harmful to humans or the environment. Is it a matter of choice: do you want your item to sit unused on a shelf for a long time, or do you want it to be safer for the user? It's obvious what you'll pick.

10.  An additional benefit of coconut oil is its naturally high level of antioxidants.

The addition of toxic chemicals such as triclosan, parabens, sulphates, and others in antibacterial soaps is thought to increase the risk of certain cancers, alter hormonal balance, and negatively impact reproductive function.

Rather than using chemical antibacterial agents, organic soaps rely on antibacterial agents such as lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus, and peppermint, among others, to fight harmful bacteria. These fragrances, in addition to reducing bacteria, also have wonderful scents.

11. Using natural scents is the best way to experience real aromatherapy.

Using natural organic soap, you can reap the benefits of aromatherapy by inhaling the therapeutic scents. Aromatherapy is said to reduce stress and improve mood and outlooks.

It is impossible to manufacture the chemical make-up of essential oils in a laboratory.

Using synthetic elements in place of natural ones can reduce the therapeutic benefits. The natural essential oils release neurochemicals in the brain that improve your mind, body, and spirit.
